The reason he gave me to watch this show was dialogues and lots of boobies. Well, who can say no to any of the two and I watched the pilot and man , was i so hooked that i had to watch the next 44 episodes like a zombie and a whole weekend down the drain.
The title californication seems a bit weird but after the pilot u know know that it's something to do about fornication. The show is about a fucked up writer named Hankk moody who is established as a really talented writer who has not been writing for 5 years and has a lot of shit to deal with.
The things that gets anyone about this show is the devil-may-care attitude of moody , his daughter becca who worships satan and acts like the only mature person in the show. His best friend runkle who is also his agent.
The thing which I really liked in this show are these really fucked up and embarassing situations moody and his friend lands in.
The 1st and 2nd season stays true to the story and give lots of fun. Th third season takes a different turn and focuses on moody juggling women and the 4th season which is running now shows moody going further down the shithole.
