californication review

This show was suggested to me by my friend rishi.
The reason he gave me to watch  this show was dialogues and lots of boobies. Well, who can say no to any of the two and I watched  the pilot and man , was i so hooked that i had to watch the next 44 episodes like a zombie and a whole weekend down the drain.

The title californication seems a bit weird but after the pilot u know know that it's something to do about fornication. The show is about a fucked up writer named Hankk moody who is established as a really talented writer who has not been writing for 5 years and has a lot of shit to deal with.

The things that gets anyone about this show is the devil-may-care attitude of moody , his daughter becca who worships satan and acts like the only mature person in the show. His best friend runkle who is also his agent.

The thing which I really liked in this show are these really fucked up and embarassing situations moody and his friend lands in.

The 1st and 2nd season stays true to the story and give lots of fun. Th third season takes a different turn and focuses on moody juggling women and the 4th season which is running now shows moody going further down the shithole.

paprika - review

I came across this japanese anime movie when my friend told that inception is partly ripped from paprika. I was thinking about dream logic and killer plot when this movie takes you by suprise from the very beginning.

The story in 2 lines :

• DC mini is a device whice allows you to see others dreams and is stolen from a research lab.

• The villain is killing people using this and the heroine should stop it before its too late.

Even though the plot is confusing and doesnt give enough information, this movie succeeds
to be a visual treat for full 90 mins.When you see this movie you feel like its from your dreams.The parade scene is a work of art and the background score mesmerises you. One of the best things in the movie are the  characters and the director keeps the film intact with its sub plots and dreams.

This movie is far from inception and one of the best anime piece i have seen.

MY FIRST POST

This is my first post and my first blog.

I'm 18 and began watching hollywood movies from 12 and i think i have seen a fair share
of movies and unfortunately i'm addicted to movies so much that it's taken a huge toll on my acads especially.
